Last updated: 20 May 2026 Effective immediately upon access

Welcome to Indonesia Specialty Coffee. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Indonesia Specialty Coffee ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of specialtycoffee.id, including every product, service, and resource we publish through this site.

By accessing, browsing, registering, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If any part is unacceptable to you, please discontinue use of the site.

Article 01

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Indonesia Specialty Coffee. We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or business operations.

Material updates will be posted on this page with a fresh "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the site after such updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 02

Eligibility & Account

To purchase from Indonesia Specialty Coffee or to access protected features, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indonesian law. If you are buying on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

Account responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration
  • Keep your password confidential and your account secure
  • Accept full responsibility for all activity performed under your account
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access or security incident
Article 03

Use of the Site

You agree to use the site solely for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party. You will not interfere with the security or performance of the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use any automated tools to extract data without our prior written consent.

Article 04

Products & Sourcing

Indonesia Specialty Coffee curates and trades coffee sourced directly from farmers and cooperatives across the archipelago — Aceh Gayo, Java Preanger, Bali Kintamani, Mandheling, Toraja, Flores, and beyond. Because coffee is an agricultural product, minor variations in sensory profile, moisture, or defect count may occur between lots and harvests.

We endeavour to publish accurate cupping notes, processing details, and origin information. Where you require specific certifications (organic, Rainforest Alliance, etc.), please request documentation in writing before ordering.

Origin matters. We sell only what we have personally cupped and approved.
Article 05

Orders & Payment

Each order placed through the site constitutes an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline at our discretion. An order is considered confirmed once payment has cleared and we have issued an order confirmation by email.

  • Prices are quoted in IDR or USD as displayed at checkout
  • Bank transfer, QRIS, e-wallets, and major card networks are accepted
  • For wholesale or export orders, separate commercial terms may apply
  • Pricing errors permit us to cancel and refund any affected order
Article 06

Shipping & Export

Domestic orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. International export orders require additional preparation time for documentation (phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, export licence) and customs clearance. Estimated lead times will be confirmed in your sales contract.

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier under Incoterms agreed for that shipment. Customs duties, taxes, and import charges at the destination are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Article 07

Returns & Quality Claims

Quality is our standard. If your shipment is damaged, defective, or materially different from the sample provided, please notify us within 5 business days of receipt with photographic evidence and, if possible, retained samples.

  • We may offer replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion
  • Quality claims must reference the lot number on the original packaging
  • Roasted coffee that has been opened cannot be returned unless defective
  • Custom roast and bulk green orders are non-refundable once shipped
