Where to Find Indonesia Specialty Coffee at Tokyo Big Sight

Indonesia Specialty Coffee is exhibiting in South Hall 1 & 2 for all three days of the show. The table below has every detail you need to reach Booth 1106.

12 Indonesian Green Coffee Lots on the Cupping Table

85+ GREEN COFFEE BEANS

Every lot at Booth 1106 ships Grade 1, graded under SNI 01-2907-2008 (defect value 11 or lower, moisture 12.5% or lower), and every Arabica lot cups at 82 to 88 SCA points on SCA protocol. The table names both processing steps for each lot, the cherry process (Step 1) and the hulling method (Step 2), because a semi-washed, wet-hulled Lintong behaves very differently in your roaster from a full-washed, dry-hulled Toraja.

# Lot Species Step 1: Cherry process Step 2: Hulling Cup character
1 Aceh Gayo Carbonic Maceration Natural Arabica Carbonic maceration, natural Dry-hulled Vivid wine-like sweetness, lush full body, expressive acidity
2 Aceh Gayo Natural Classic Arabica Natural Dry-hulled Fruit-forward sweetness, heavy velvety body, refined juicy acidity
3 Bali Wanigiri Honey Arabica Honey process Dry-hulled Bali highland honey lot; full profile on request at the booth
4 Aceh Gayo Wet-Hulled Arabica Semi-washed Wet-hulled (Giling Basah) The classic Gayo Highlands profile: dark chocolate, cedar, brown sugar, heavy body
5 Java Ijen CM Honey Arabica Carbonic maceration honey Dry-hulled Clean structure, elegant aromatics, subtle volcanic minerality
6 North Sumatra Lintong Wet-Hulled Arabica Semi-washed Wet-hulled (Giling Basah) Grown at 1,300 to 1,600 m near Lake Toba; structure and depth
7 Sumatra Super Peaberry Arabica Semi-washed Wet-hulled, peaberry selection Dense single-seed beans, bold flavour, hand sorted
8 North Sumatra Sipirok Hydro Honey Arabica Hydro honey Dry-hulled North Sumatra highland honey lot; full profile on request at the booth
9 Wild Kopi Luwak Arabica Natural (wild civet-processed cherry) Dry-hulled Nutty, vanilla, chocolate, almond; soft-medium acidity, mild body
10 Aceh Gayo Wine Arabica Wine process (extended fermentation) Dry-hulled Bright acidity, natural sweetness, fruit, florals, dark chocolate
11 Liberica Boja Liberica Natural Dry-hulled Liberica from Boja, Central Java; full profile on request at the booth
12 Robusta ELB Grade 1 Robusta Natural Dry-hulled Full body, earthy, consistent bean size, controlled moisture

Five of the fourteen lots are Gayo Arabica from our partner farms in Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah at 1,400 to 1,800+ metres. Cupping the Natural Classic, Carbonic Maceration, Wine, Long Berry, and Wet-Hulled versions side by side shows you how much of Gayo’s character comes from the terroir and how much from the cherry process. That comparison is hard to arrange from a pricelist, and it is the main reason we chose these five for Tokyo.

The Sipirok Hydro Honey, Bali Wanigiri Honey, and Liberica Boja lots are newer additions to our range, so we are cupping them at the booth rather than publishing full notes in advance. Robusta ELB Grade 1 and Liberica Boja are there for buyers building espresso blends, cold brew, or capsule programmes that need something other than Arabica.

Want a specific lot reserved for your cupping? Tell us in the appointment form and it will be on the table when you arrive.

Daily Cupping Schedule at Booth 1106

Indonesia Specialty Coffee runs three public cupping sessions a day at Booth 1106, with the same schedule on all three days of SCAJ 2026. Each session is one hour and covers four lots, so you can cup the whole flight across one day or pick the session that matches the profiles you are sourcing.

Session Time (Day 1 to 3) Coffee line-up
Session 1 10:00 to 11:00 Aceh Gayo Carbonic Maceration Natural, Aceh Gayo Natural Classic, Bali Wanigiri Honey, Aceh Gayo Wet-Hulled
Session 2 13:00 to 14:00 Java Ijen CM Honey, North Sumatra Lintong Wet-Hulled, Sumatra Super Peaberry, North Sumatra Sipirok Hydro Honey
Session 3 16:00 to 17:00 Wild Kopi Luwak, Aceh Gayo Wine, Liberica Boja, Robusta ELB Grade 1

Session 1 is the Gayo flight: three Gayo processes on one table next to the Bali honey lot. Session 2 is the Sumatra and Java flight, built around the wet-hulled lots and two honey processes. Lastly, session 3 groups the unusual cups, the Wild Kopi Luwak, the wine-process Gayo, and the two non-Arabica species, so you can judge them against each other rather than against a washed Arabica.

On Friday 16 October the hall closes at 16:00, so Session 3 is not held on the final day. If you want to cup the Luwak, Wine, Liberica, or Robusta lots on Friday, ask at the booth or book a slot and we will set them up outside the session times. The Gayo Long Berry and Toraja Sapan lots are available on request at any time.

What You Can Do at Booth 1106

Cupping at a trade show tells you whether a coffee is interesting. Roasting it on your own machine tells you whether it fits your programme. Booth 1106 is set up for both.

  1. Cup all 12 lots at the booth. Join the three scheduled sessions at 10:00, 13:00, and 16:00, or ask for any lot outside those times. Come with a shortlist or work through the whole flight, including the five Gayo lots side by side.
  2. Take green samples home. We hold green samples of every lot for you to carry back to your cupping lab. Book ahead and we set aside the specific lots you want. Larger 1 kg evaluation samples can be ordered after the show.
  3. Roast, cup, then talk volume. A trade show cup is a starting point, not a purchase decision. Roast the sample, cup it against your current Indonesian offerings, then come back to us on volume and terms.
  4. Talk export terms face to face. Shipping is FOB Belawan from Medan, with CIF to Japanese ports quoted on request. Order tiers run from 1 kg samples and 60 kg microlots to 350 kg wholesale and 9 MT+ container loads. Our wholesale pricelist in USD per kg is at the booth.

One practical tip from our side. Wet-hulled lots such as the Gayo Wet-Hulled, Lintong, and Sumatra Super Peaberry carry a slightly different moisture and density profile from the dry-hulled lots. If you are roasting them for the first time, profile them separately rather than reusing your washed Central American curve.

Book a Meeting Slot Before Friday 16 October

Walk-ins are welcome at Booth 1106, but booked meetings get priority. Booth traffic at SCAJ is heavy, and 15 minutes of unhurried time with the person who grades your coffee is worth more than a quick chat in a queue. Slots are still available for Thursday 15 and Friday 16 October.

Book through the SCAJ 2026 appointment form or the form on our SCAJ 2026 event page. Buyers who book a meeting and cupping session with us during SCAJ 2026 can claim a USD 1,000 voucher, free shipping, and a free entry ticket to the show. When you book, we prepare in advance:

  • Your cupping flight, with the lots you name on the form ready on the table
  • Current wholesale pricing in USD per kg for every lot you ask about
  • Halal certification documents for all lots, with Organic and Rainforest Alliance available on request

You can also reach the team directly during the show:
